Gadgets

I have always been a fan of Amazon.  I have looked up to the release of the Amazon Echo since day one.  As they have recently released the new Echo Show and the Echo Look.  The Echo Show, shown above, features a screen as well as Alexa capability.  It has a new FaceTime like video chatting software that is compatible to call any other echo or Alexa app.  Furthermore, Apple Airpods have a huge hype right now as well as a huge line up to get them.  So the alternative has been brought to us by no one other than Samsung.  The earbuds are called Gear icon X. These guys have basically all of the features of the AirPods except they come at a cheaper price point and a lower wait.  They go for roughly $139. 

Gaming

So I realize that I haven't posted in a little while so I am going to start a weekly tech update.  This week, the new XBOX one X (formerly known as project scorpio) was released.  Said to have 4k compatibility as well as able to work with all previous XBOX one accessories.  The ONE X has a very oddly similar look to the One S. 

Phones

I am aware that I'm a little late to the party, but the new Samsung Galaxy S8 has been released.  Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the new iPhone will not be able to compare.  Due to Apple and Qualcomm's recent lawsuit, Apple has been trying to make there phones run not completely on Snapdragon.  The iPhone 8 has a rumored touch id built into the screen with a touch bar like system instead of the usual bottom bezel.  Recent updates from Apple suggest that they might be releasing a version of iMessage for android.  I believe they won't do this as most people only by Apple products because of their messaging app.  Although they may release this, they might not be free.
